PLANT OPERATOR
About the Role
As a plant operator you will be responsible for using a variety of machinery on demolition sites UK wide.
Responsibilities
The safe operation of heavy plant and machinery
Undertaking daily checks - observing gauges, dials, switches, and alarms, and other indicators to ensure that machinery is working properly
Ensuring plant and machinery its kept clean and tidy
Defect reporting
Complying with the companies’ and industry-specific health and safety standards, and site-specific rules.
Working in a team to ensure company and client objectives are met
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
Must have in-date CPCS or NPORS card (stating relevant categories held).
D90 (demolition-specific) categories desirable
Must have a full UK driving licence
Proven experience in a plant operator role, preferably on demolition projects
A proactive, safety-conscious and quality of workmanship attitude
